Vallcarca i els Penitents and La Salut are two neighbourhoods of the Gracia district. The first one, located between the hills of Putxet and Coll, stretches from Plaza Lesseps to Collserola. Here we find the Militar Hospital and the viaduct of Vallcarca. On the other hand, La Salut –former summer destination for people who lived in Barcelona and Gracia-is placed on the slope of the hills of Carmel and la Rovira facing the sea. The neighbourhood is famous because of Parc Güell, the greatest exponent of Gaudí’s work.
