Gràcia is the smallest district in Barcelona and is bounded by L’Eixample to the south, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi to the west and Horta-Guinardó to the east. Its old part, today known as ‘Vila de Gràcia’ –full of squares and small and lively streets bursting with restaurants, cafes, night spots and shops- was an independent borough until the late 19th century. Today the neighbourhood boasts a young atmosphere and its own personality. The district’s main cultural attraction is Gaudí’s Parc Güell, located in the neighbourhood of La Salut.
